The program's goal is for high school/college students to work with Alameda County ITD during their summer break, to learn about technology and the County. Each of them gets to work with an ITD team as well as with each other to develop an app or contribute to a project that benefits the County.

They gain experience in project management, build on their team skills, learn how to develop software through its entire life cycle, and present their deliverables at the end of the eight weeks program. For more: https://itd.acgov.org/student-intern-program/
