What should you do if you drove up to a mudslide?

Don’t try to drive around the mudslide.  There could be additional dangers on the other side, including more mudslides, downed trees/power lines, even washed out roads.  Unstable ground could lead to additional mudslides.  Motorists should leave the area immediately. Make a mental note of the mudslide location, and report details to the local authorities as soon as it is safe to do so.
